What to Bring on Your Amazon Adventure
Gear up for a safe and unforgettable Amazon experience
Preparing for your Amazon adventure is key to making the most of your experience. From comfortable clothing and sturdy footwear to essential gear for wildlife spotting and photography, packing the right items ensures you stay safe, comfortable, and ready for every exciting moment.
Use this guide to bring everything you need for an unforgettable journey into the heart of the rainforest.
Light Clothing: Bring shorts, lightweight pants, and breathable t-shirts for daytime comfort. Neutral colors like beige or khaki are ideal. Long-sleeved shirts are recommended for extra protection against mosquitos in the mornings and evenings.
Sun Protection: Sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat, and sunglasses are essential to shield yourself from the strong Amazon sun.
Photography & Chargers: Don’t forget your camera, extra memory cards, and chargers—you’ll want to capture every unforgettable moment of your adventure.
Swimwear: Pack a swimsuit to enjoy refreshing swims in lagoons or rivers, especially during the stunning sunsets at Laguna Grande.
Insect Repellent: A must-have to keep mosquitos away during your jungle excursions.
Rain Gear: Rain showers are common in the rainforest. We provide ponchos at the lodge, but bringing your own rain jacket is always useful.
Binoculars & Flashlight (Optional): Perfect for spotting wildlife and exploring the forest during nighttime excursions.
Footwear: Comfortable hiking shoes or sneakers are ideal for trails. Rubber boots are provided for muddy walks.
Personal Essentials: Always double-check that you haven’t left anything behind in your cabin or around the lodge.
